From the Flood of the Century in 1997, to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, to protecting Manitoba homes in 2011, 2013 and 2014, Syn-Tex flood products have been on the frontlines of some of North America's most intense floods. From single home protection to creating dikes that span miles, we are global leaders in flood protection.
To ensure our flood products deliver the protection you need (flexibility around corners, high enough to protect from the tallest of waves, tough enough to protect from floating trees or ice jams), our products are tested internally by Syn-Tex and also by qualified flood and erosion engineers. During the product testing of 2011, 12 and 13 the Wave Breaker TM survived the large waves and telephone poles thrown at it to simulate the protection it is capable of providing against the rivers of the Red River Basin.
